Kaiser Cartel
Saw the Kaiser Cartel with Regina Hexaphone at the Open Eye Cafe in Carrboro. They are from Brooklyn and they are really swell. We picked up their EP thing. Have it pretty much on repeat at the Carrboro Sugar Shack. The female vocals remind of the former triangle resident Tami Hart and Mazzy Star.. but probably more tami.. Damn I really liked Tami's music.. I wonder what she is up to now. I think she is in South Carolina now..
PS Regina Hexaphone rocked it too.. but you knew that..

Regina Spektor is playing Boulder early May - gonna go along and check out the gig... hopefully I'll get some photos
